Become Adaptable, Resilient, Industry-Ready, Skilled & Empowered

The A.R.I.S.E. Programme is a life-changing initiative designed to empower young people and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds in Birmingham. 

Funded by the City & Guilds Foundation, and developed and led by ReGenesis Youth UK CIC, this partnership project provides self-awareness, life skills, and employability training that leads to guaranteed opportunities in thriving industries.

Our goal is to help you develop the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to excel in your personal and professional life.

Interactive Workshops & Mentoring

• Participate in 4 weeks of interactive workshops led by professionals with lived experience.

• Gain critical self-awareness and life skills to prepare for future challenges and opportunities.

Earn Digital Credentials

• Receive official City & Guilds digital credentials for each completed workshop and for completing the 4 week programme.

• Add these valuable certifications to your CV to stand out to employers.

Industry-Specific Training

On completion of the programme:

For aged 19+

• Join a City & Guilds Training / Intertrain skills bootcamp in rail or construction.

• Receive specialised training and skills needed to excel in these industries.

For aged 16 - 18

• Support with joining a level 2 apprenticeship (educational entry requirements apply for level 3 and above apprenticeships). 

• Work Towards Level 2 Functional Skills in English & Maths to meet apprenticeship entry requirements or progress on to a college course of your interest.

Guaranteed Employment Opportunities

For aged 19+

• Successfully completing the rail or construction bootcamp ensures guaranteed job opportunities with employer partners.

Alternative Career Support

• Not interested in rail or construction? No problem! Our partner, Pertemps, will help you explore other training and employment opportunities tailored to your aspirations.

Work Experience Mentor Support

• Access to rail or construction mentors, who will provide scheduled phone call sessions, offering guidance, support and practical advice to help you navigate any workplace challenges and build confidence in your role.

Incentive Vouchers

For aged 16 - 18

• Vouchers worth £100 will be given on completion of the 4 week interactive workshops phase of the programme.

• Choice of vouchers will be from JD Sports, Flannels, Amazon or Currys.

• Professional Growth: Develop skills that employers value.

• Personal Empowerment: Build confidence and resilience for life’s challenges.

• Employment Opportunities: Secure a guaranteed job or explore other tailored career paths.

• Recognition: Earn industry-recognised certifications that enhance your employability.
